Morgens in einer Amerikanischen Grundschule

Die Kinder stellen sich in Zweierreihen auf dem Spielplatz auf und der Lehrer holt sie dort ab. Dann kommen die Knirpse ins Klassenzimmer und setzen sich auf ihren Platz und fangen an zu arbeiten. Regan hat die Papiere (Dinge, die mit "M" beginnen ausmalen) vor dem Unterricht ausgelegt. Bevor die Kinder loslegen stecken sie noch ihre Namensschilder an.
irgendwann kommt eine Stimme (Sekretaeriat) aus dem Lautsprecher und die "Daily Annoincments" werden durchgegeben. Jeden Tag wird gesagt wer heute Geburtstag hat. Und heute wurde dann auch noch gesagt, dass die 4. Klaessler kein Fussball spielen duerfen weil es schon Streit auf dem Fussballplatz gab.
Dann kommt die Nationalhymne und alle stehen auf und singen
